At the heart of my work is a passion for creating beautiful,
bespoke pieces that explore our experiences and
memories of place and the landscape.
I am lucky enough to live and work in a beautiful valley nestled between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. I love walking with my dogs in the wild open spaces around me or traveling to climb in the many beautiful mountainous areas of the world.
These moments constantly inspire me; at the heart of my work is a passion for creating beautiful, bespoke pieces that explore our experiences and memories of place and the landscape.
I studied Psychology at Bath University and went on to Bristol School of Art for an Arts Foundation course. I completed a master’s degree in fine art at the University of the West of England and was awarded a distinction for my work exploring how art can convey an experience of place, using the medium of large-scale site-specific pinhole installations.
Over the last ten years my work has evolved, and I now enjoy using ceramics and papercut artwork to explore our experience of place and the landscape.
I have been fortunate to have been awarded commercial commissions as well as work with several galleries, regularly being represented at the London Affordable Art Fairs.
I have worked with some wonderful clients, creating artwork for homes and collectors that have celebrated experiences, memories of places, travels and the stories that have shaped their lives.
I create beautiful pieces that are timeless, priceless and wonderfully personal.
